Clinical Supervision and You/Your Psychology Journey
Psychology and Clinical Supervision: Because You don’t have to navigate your private practice journey alone.
Clinical supervision is a collaborative and reflective process that allows you, as a psychologist, to delve deeper into your practice. It’s an opportunity to discuss cases, explore challenges, and gain insights from an experienced clinical psychologist who can guide and offers a fresh perspective.
Trauma work can be immensely rewarding but also emotionally demanding and complex. Supervision sessions provide a safe, confidential, and containing space where you can openly discuss your experiences, challenges, and uncertainties.
It can include case discussions, reflective explorations, skill enhancement or discussing business challenges. I believe this supportive environment is crucial for well-being and professional development.
Clinical supervision can also be a place to think about your private practice including how to start and grow your business. This can include how to maintain your own wellbeing when working in sole practice and space to consider how to maintain a good balance between work and the rest of life.
